The Bullet impresses at NW200 25-05-08

Rob the bullet Barber turned in a sterling performance at the NW200 road races yesterday. sitting aboard his Dave Cottrell backed GSXR 1000 and using the all new 25mm KAIS fork cartridges and shock conversion he managed a superb 19th in the Superbike race and backed that up with another fine result (22nd) in the superstock race. In the Supersport races, he rode his robinsons backed Triumph, again using the all new 25mm KAIS fork cartridges and shock conversion, to a fantastic first race 28th and second race 19th. a feat made all the more impressive by the fact he was using a completely standard engine. Robs performance was good enough to ensure he will be seeded for next year. We or all proud of you mate, good luck for the TT!

Dale impresses on KAIS Suzuki 11-05-08

Dale Weir continues to impress on his KAIS backed RM125. He recently moved up into the seniors in the North West AMCA group. Dale is the youngest competitor in the class and competes aboard a lowered RM125R K8. Initially it was thought, he may struggle to adapt to the bigger bike and the faster class, but on sunday's meeting, he proved us all wrong by taking first overall. Everyone at KAIS is proud of him and judging off the smile on his dads face, so are his family. Keep it up Dale!!!

The RM125 has always been a front runner in its class but for 08 its getting a little bit "racier". 08 sees the launch of the RM125R K8. It comes complete with a genuine DEP exhaust system and SM pro blue rims but better than this it gives you entry into the RM125 national race series. Simply buy a brand new RM125R k8 from your UK suzuki dealer (KAIS) and register your chassis number then compete in 8 races and log your results. The top 40 entrants go forward to the championship race at the 2008 DEP finals. Top prize is a brand new RM125 K9.

GSXR cup starlets stay with KAIS 22-11-07

2007 saw the launch of the ACU GSXR cup. The championship was really successful prompting its continuation for 08. Two of the up and coming starlets from the championship have stayed with KAIS for the 08 season. Mike Mclean and Dan Mackay will both be contesting the Junior superstock at BSB. the championship allows limited tuning mods meaning suspension will be of paramount importance. Both young riders gave solid performances throughout last year and we look forward to seeing how they progress in 08.

ACU GSX-R Cup 01-11-07

2008 sees the continuation of the crescent suzuki backed ACU GSX-R cup. The format will again see forty identical GSX-R 600’s race over an ten round championship. KAIS are pleased to announce their association with the series for which we will be providing an up-rated suspension package. The package includes a modification to the front forks, a full conversion to the standard shock and an all new steering damper. The brief was to make a cost effective suspension package able to cope with all the rigours of a race series. All work is carried out in house and is available to retail customers from January onwards.
